For as long as I can remember

I’ve had a passion for the poor for as long as I can remember. As a child I witnessed my grandparent’s example of serving overseas as missionaries, which in turn started and sparked interest in my soul. The first time I had an opportunity to serve in high school, I jumped at the chance. Whether it was serving in downtown Denver, at a local soup kitchen, or adventuring overseas, a passion was ignited that I haven’t been able to rid myself of since.

This blog is something that I’ve wanted to start for a long time. I’ve had such a longing to write about things that really matter and as a result, create change. Maybe it will only change my heart, but regardless, I’m ready to devote time and energy to bring people and organizations into the light that are truly making a difference. That is what I want this blog to be all about… people striving to impact others and sharing their lives with the needy and hopeless. Whether it’s a local ministry, a non-profit,  or a missions organization I hope this can be an avenue that highlights their efforts.

Please join me by learning and connecting with those that are making a difference. I would love for these stories to ignite a flame and a passion in you as it has done for me, and if you feel led in the days ahead, to actually get involved in some way. But first, please feel free to read and be encouraged- encouraged enough to where you can do nothing but take action.
